2Ukids is changing. Now we offer the possibility to download our streetgames
from our new site located at www.2ukids.org/catalog.
You can either download 60 games one by one or order the DVD Playtime #1 (50 streetgames from 12 countries).
Under the slogan “download a game to upgrade a life” you actually support the continuity of filming streetgames worldwide (database)
as well as you support UNICEF, because part of the revenue of the downloads will be donated to UNICEF.

March 2006- Finally ready:
the "Playtime DVD"
Finally the "Playtime DVD" is there.
For ordering the DVD please go to the "Contact"
page on this site.
We needed more time to accomplish the most complicated
DVD there is (as far as we know:)). The DVD contains 50 streetgames
from 12 countries and has descriptions of game-rules in 5 languages:
English, French, German, Spanish and Dutch.
The release date will be March 10th

January 2006- Exposition
at Museum Jannink
From March 19th 2006 until February 18 2007
the exposition "Speelgoed en Spellen" will be at Museum
Jannink in Enschede - the Netherlands. This exposition is
about toys and games children play.
September 2005-Sign
in for beta-release of Playtime DVD
The earlier proposed time of releasing the DVD
has extended until november. We are working hard to accomplish
our mission to provide all of you with the best DVD we can produce.
We will select a few interested parties to review our DVD. We
will send them to you for FREE to commentate your findings before
releasing the final DVD.

in at the Convenantoffice
Obesity in the Netherlands
A projectproposal " Obesity: hands up!
" is sent to the Convenantoffice Obesity, based on the Ministry
VWS in The Hague, on July 15 - 2005 to eradicate Obesity.
June 27 - 2005 Talks 2UKids
and Nickelodeon
2UKids and Nickelodeon had talks about
kids at play and what to do with it. In July 2005 proposals will
be made and further initiatives will be discussed for possible
cooperation.
Kids’ tv network Nickelodeon: black screen
in Holland
on June 1 – 2005
2Ukids is very happy with the action taken
by Nickelodeon and 3VO not to broadcast any tv for children on
coming June 1. In Holland the organisation 3VO organises this
day the “Nationale Straatspeeldag” (the National Streetgameday)
and Nickelodeon supports 3VO by not broadcasting on tv for 3 hours
(14.00-17.00 hrs)
The reason herefore is to motivate children to play outside and
actually move more than only sit and watch tv! 2Ukids hopes more
tv-networks will follow these first steps to achieve healthier
and fitter kids worldwide

2UKids is trying to get in contact with
Clintonfoundation.
Referring to the article of "Clinton takes
on childhood obesity" in the New York Times, may 4th 2005,
2UKids totally subscribes the necessity of the urge of better
food and health education for kids. We would like to contribute
to this project in any way and have contacted the Clintonfoundation
to offer our services.
